A kids’ homemade pizza evening is fun for all ages. It is a great way to spend time with your children, talk about their school activities and stimulate their creativity. So why don’t organize a pizza dinner once per week?
Before starting don’t forget to write the recipe on a sheet of paper hung on the wall or chalkboard. You can even make this look like a restaurant menu.
Prepare all the basic ingredients (flour, yeast, salt, olive oil and water) or buy your prepared pizza pans. Put in several bowl your kids’ favorite toppings (mozzarella, ham, olives, fresh basil, etc…) and make sure to have a great selection of veggies. Don’t forget the Del Monte® tomato sauce, which is a key ingredient for a successful pizza!
Enjoy your pizza evening and remind fruit and vegetable are part of a balanced diet and can help us stay healthy. That’s why it’s important we get enough of them on daily basis.
