We are looking for a student to provide support to the UK Fresh Cut Commercial (Sales, Marketing & NPD) team whilst gaining commercial acumen and an understanding of the support functions that work in partnership with the front line sales team to deliver growth to the business. This role will also be involved in the development of Del Monte's fresh cut brand and help to develop brand identity including online presence.

Your responsibilities
• Work directly with the Category, Marketing, NPD and Commercial teams to develop the Del Monte Fresh Cut branded presence, listings, distribution and marketing.
• Work with the Commercial team to develop presentations to existing and new customers that have compelling reasons to create category growth for Del Monte products.
• Manage specific projects, online and other, that have been created and implemented with the objective of developing Del Monte's UK business.
• Provide analysis and input from trade and consumer data generating a full picture of the wider market, makro trends and key areas of development for focussing innovation.

Your profile:
• Currently studying a marketing related degree with a requirement for a 12 month work placement commencing summer 2020.
• Strong organisation skills, attention to detail.
• A strong understanding of online marketing and the use of social media for brand development.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills with clear commercial acumen and understanding.
• As part of a small team this person will be required to get involved in many cross functional projects. Full driving licence/car is required as the role involves some travel and store audits in addition to covering occasional out of business hours/weekend events assisting with product sampling
